Hana Kolesová
Hana is a developmental biologist specializing in heart embryonic development, with research interests spanning congenital heart diseases and the roles of NOTCH and related signaling pathways. Her work integrates advanced imaging techniques with morphological and molecular analyses to uncover the mechanisms that guide cardiovascular development.
She has gained extensive international experience through several research stays, including a Fulbright Scholarship at Case Western Reserve University during her postdoctoral fellowship (2019) and an earlier Fulbright Scholarship at the University of Washington during her Ph.D. studies. In addition, she completed multiple research residencies in the USA, Austria, and France. Hana earned her Ph.D. in Developmental Biology from Charles University and has served as an assistant professor at the Institute of Anatomy since 2008.
